This gig kind of landed on our laps and ever since it's been cram sessions to prepare.
About a year ago I ran into guitarist Mark C crossing Astor Place on his way to see Five Dollar Priest and during our conversation thought we should meet and see what's up.
A year on and after casting around for a bassist - and finding Kent - we have a new group we call outpost.
Originally based on jams and improvisation , by now those pieces sometimes become 'songs', some remain sound scapes.
A few weeks ago we were recording tracks but had to go into live performance rehearsal mode and get it up to do a 35m set ( 7 songs-pieces ) this Thurs.
We put a few more recent cuts up on Myspace.
Silver Tower and Witchfire plus Outer Perimeter a jam that rose up after the end of another song ...
So even without alot of back up or support , we did decide to did set out on another music making journey.
At least we got the bassist we were looking for !

Dub - PIL ish basslines, piled up guitar fx noise on, post kraut' kosmiche' kyboard & synth minglings, psycherock and tribal drum machine action.
Sometimes it amounts to three kinds of music playing at same time atop grooves.
