Wow, I can only imagine those who populate those forums are even sadder than we are. The mind boggles!

Maybe it was under a flap at the bottom of the front panel that lifted off?

Funnily enough, I got much better performance out of my washing machine after following this procedure.

Edit: sorry, some mis-types there. By "my", I meant "your". And by "washing machine", I meant "mum".

Joking by the way, I've never even been to Paris. A friend of mine bought poppers in a sex shop there but I'm sure there's better ways to spend your time

i'm not in paris, but i will be. i'm choosing to go there to visit someone, but i gave myself some free days because i thought i'd be able to fill them.

last year in amsterdam i spent a free day reading a book in a park and looking round the adidas shops. i don't think i want to repeat that.

While we're on the topic of what to do in international cities, is there anything of note that happens in New York around late September? Heading over again from the 20th to the 30th but can't seem to find much in the way of listings or events for that period online. Quite frustrating that Time Out only seems to provide about 7 days worth of info.

i don't know specifics for this year but in general, september is a pretty good time to be in nyc. everyone goes away/chills out in august, then shifts into high gear when they get back. for example, september is the start of the new gallery season with lots of big-name shows in chelsea, if you're into that sort of thing. plus the weather is usually good: still warm but not summer hot anymore or fall/winter cold yet.

and yeah, check time out ny as you get closer to your dates.
