Just wanted to say: I thought last night was fucking ace. A whole tortuous year of people over-hyping 'improv' kitchen sets and banal Bandcamp electronic shit...and Xylitol blew it all out of the water. That set was utterly incredible. Shame on any 'NAU' wankers who couldn't be arsed to tune in. I'm rabidly impatient for the new album to drop.
I also thought it would be impossible to enjoy any band called 'Lorde Awesome' (God, I hate that name!), but listening to their set in the park, in the dark (with fairy lights flashing) and with echoboxed dog barks, was quite the trip. Stewart Home pumped his house love truncheon in fine style. The Orlando Harrison piece was harrowing. The whole fucking thing flashed by too quick, I was having a whale of a time. I don't think my set was that bad, but Don Letts might disagree.
Anyway, Xylitol = amazing, Xmas = cancelled and NAU = redundant.
