Interesting that dissensus music forum seems like it was essentially the same sort of forum as dubstepforum back in those days – except it was (almost) all about grime.

A lot more enthusiastic "this is a BIG tune" style posts than I'd expect

Presumably all the heavyweight Theory chat was happening in other subforums

that was the era, a lot of earnest enthusiasm in that first wave of music blogs

interesting that what ages isnt participants but styles of discourse

well i don't think any of us expected grime to be the end of musical history although come to think of it i remember @bunnyhausen saying something like that

never a favourite, but flowdan sounds kind of weird on that new song hes done with skrillex. teetering on that line (a familiar one for him actually) between straight and parody.
