The onion is probably my favourite publication ever. The articles are almost invariably hilarious, spot-on or both. This article is pretty much amongst the latter. (no offense to pitchfork contributors...:D) Its a shame there are so many bloody adverts on there now...

The Klute one is an album of techno, electronica and stuff- "You Should Be Ashamed". Came as a 2 CD set with "Lie Cheat and Steal". Fanu's downtempo stuff is pretty good. Also, check Intex Systems - ASC's downtempo/dubstep alias. Martyn's dubstep is boss as well. Juju has a few good dubstep...

This looked ok on paper, but I'm afraid it sounds pretty pap to me... Couldn't bring myself to listen to it again really! The production just sounds a bit shit to me, whether knowing or otherwise.

Correct. Keisha is far from "butters". The new member that replaced Mutya is comical though. Its as if they just took her picture, ran it thru a photoshop filter that made her 100% hotter and 100% blander, and found someone that looked like the result.

What was/is "authenticity" though? Isn't it just reference to a past/present identity/discourse that now appears fixed, but was once as fluid and unstable as the new construction that seeks 'authentification' from it? Surely most 'new' things contain many elements of 'old' things anyway, so...

aaaagh Touching Down was bad... let us not speak of it again. Much love for roni was lost in the purchasing of that album. Bad tunes, badly mixed (not even full tracks!). Anyways, know what you mean about dub police. Some absolute belter tunes on it, and some that just don't cut it for me...
