I came up with this idea of generative music in about 2003. And then found out Brian eno already was trying it. My version was much better though it was more about the files midi and stems with samples released alongside mp3housemate of mine was "working" on the concept of a stem remixing create-your-own website in around 2010 or thereabouts. not sure if anything came of it. probably not.
Mustve already been posted but ive been playing this song all weekend. Getting a little bored right now but i love the beat and the all out bridge burning in the lyrics
I thin probably linebaugh or version already posted it in this thread but couldnt find it
i think so. he's always going to be a relevant figure coz he's been such a trailblazer, and he's always going to make waves when he speaks. but i hope his finances are in order. he's obviously not alright so who knows how well he's been managing all that cash.
musically its been over for a while obviously, don't have high hopes for him ever putting out anything i want to listen to again
I guess, but can he maintain that level of trailblazer status when he's no longer able to do regular projects with adidas and Balenciaga? and when he's booted off all social media aside from parlor?
Not all cancellations are equal, though. Going MAGA will get you canceled by a certain small percentage of libs who may or may not have much influence. Declaring it's time to go def-con of the Jews is a little harder to shallow, and forgive, for a lot more people.
i don't know if the cancellation thing is something that's been discussed on here, probably it has. could be fruitful if not. or maybe not.
I dunno manwhich still seems like a bit of an injustice to me, all things considered
I dunno man
Cancellations
So Lovecraft was a racist, but is still not quite cancelled? R Kelly, the paedo/sex abuser, cancelled? I would still like to be able to hear his tunes, but i don't think it's allowed now MJ likewise, but his tunes are canonical? Conrad was a bit racist too, but is not cancelled, afaik I...www.dissensus.com
