Aquasky - Dezires (Drum & Bass -1995/2001-):
There was a boy at school who I both hated and introduced to jungle. Hid parents immediately bought him 1210s and gave him pocket money to go blackmarket records weekly. Wotta cunt. We'll anyway he loved aquasky and therefore I am deeply prejudice against them

this turns out to actually be 95, feels 96 (which is why i eliminated it from consideration)

love the driving in my BMW through the winding narrow hedgerow-lined lanes of West Hertfordshire (where Goldie has lived for a while now) vibe

Was always a fan of this. Used to get mercilessly slagged or playing it out. Slots in nicely with 'its a jazz thing'.

Probably the exact moment when the rot set in at Shadow though.

Impossible Task

I might get through '93 till Friday, but by no means I will be able to get through 1994. so much good stuff, it's ridiculous.

I can't help but feel like you've made this even more difficult than it should be. Just list your 50 favourite tracks, job done.

Corpsey

bandz ahoy

Here is a playlist of those songs which are probably going to be fighting for a place in my top 50.

I reckon my top 50 is going to be some real 'SHY FX PRESENTS THE BEST OF OLD SKOOL JUNGLE (Available in Woolworths)' level shit. Partly cos I can't be bothered to trawl through every record on discogs (well, I COULD, but I'm at work) and partly cos I am an anthems advocate.

Another also ran here. Best Aphex twin sampling jungle tune over stonekiller and that weird 93 thing that samples one of the Caustic Window tunes.

firefinga, these lists are very interesting and are obviously a labour of love, but are you actually going to submit a ballot? if not, what's the point?
