Oud Amsterdam ain't tasteless, it's well strong.not a fan of Dutch cheese tbh, its fatty and tasteless
My nain met my grandad when she worked in a milk bar during the war. There are still quite a few in Hackney, Mile End etc frequented by Muslims who cant go to pubs.In Australia and New Zealand they still drink them. The young people used to go to places called Milk Bars to drink malted milkshakes and chastely flirt. A more innocent time.
Every other bloody day there was vlai all over the place for someone's birthday while I worked there. I mean as cakes go they were quite good, but it got a bit much.and vla

it's because there is no such thing as a dutch cuisine. traditionally it's just a lot of potatoes and some boring tasteless vegetables and a bit of meat. no spices, no herbs, nothing. usually they mash everything together so you can eat it more easily. western european food is gross. from england to holland to germany.come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a dutch restaurant. certainly never eaten in one.
