Trilliam Explains House

there was actually a mad sort of shuffly electro house influenced deep tech tune on an old aaron vybe and perch mc strange static show. it was like bleep and bass refracted through that german minimal stuff, but actually managed to pull it off for me on a really badboy grimey level. it was either the first or second track on

Aaron Vybe & Perch MC - Strange Static Show 14-03-14.

Soundcloud link dead on the set.

@Corpsey @continuum you archived it, right? or maybe @datwun

want to pile in on the trilliam love in, great interview.

that house ent archive (all up on spotify too i think) and the house of silk soundcloud should keep people going, but i'll still upload a fair bit into that playlist up there too.

https://www.mixcloud.com/AaronVybe/ - for anyone after strange static

Agreed, great interview. that quote about amateur experimentation is spot on. and the descriptions of the raves made me envious

have people been listening to No Signal mentioned at the end of that article? have it on now, good r&b selection

That GGB & Truce set is without a doubt the best Deep Tech set.
good energy. standouts are promesses (always remember that video of tempz shuffling to it) and the bassline on that 'i will wait for you' one, and whatever the 'when the sun goes down' one is 54 mins in. some of the best stuff sounds a lot like 2005-ish electro house sleaze with some rudeness and rhythm

this opening line: "Towards the end of 2013, when I thought I wanted to write about music for money..." it made me think he's equating writing about music with sex work or something.
