i was there friday and saturday. i cant survive on the money a proper job brings. my cigar habit is 50 pound a day.

its tiring in a way ive never experienced before. mostly cos of the hours and cos of how unrelenting it is. i feel like i'll be tired forever. the idea was just to do it for the winter but its strangely addictive. i think mostly cos it is about becoming good at something, painstakingly, from the start-point of total beginner. but also cos of the river etc
