although by todays standards the numbers were negligable. i think he was getting, what, 1000 hits a day? was it as high as that? possibly as high as that. compared to internet fame today where youre taling 100,000 minimum i guess.

I remember Blogger.com had that global hit tracker, I used to get all excited when mine flashed up Sri Lanka or Moldova. It was only 1 hit from each, but I felt like that British Airways ad where the contrails explode across the globe.

we all look grotesque. hideously deformed. it was pre social media. no one knew how to care for their appearance.
