I love the phrasing; 'toy that turns into drug'. as if it's a transformer that turns into a giant spliff or something. It gets better - now you can get high off your TOYS! http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2007/11/06/1194329225773.html

this thread is making me feel pathetically middle-aged: even though i'm only 25, i've pretty much stopped doing drugs except for a few big blow-outs once or twice a year, as i've found that i enjoy baking cakes and listening to radio 4 on sunday mornings too much!
On DMT I went to the Sahara and sailed in a boat across an oasis with my dog for eternity...
you have a girlfriend who knits, don't you?
It's all about 'shrooms. If I could keep them, and have a smoke once a week or so, I'd let everything else go no problems.
Maybe keep NO2 as well, that is jolly good fun it must be said.
Coke is a very tedious experience for me.
H is like chemical buddhism - don't fancy the whole constipated thing though, so no thanks.
I've gone off K too because it gives me this wierd feeling of metallic nausea, like I've just eaten a cream cake full of iron filings.
but it was really just 12 minutes innit

i like coke, but i find its a very mind-compressing experience. its always about whats going to happen next, never the current moment being perfect. complete anticipatory excitement about nothing. very weird, and totally oriented on consumption - the perfect capitalist drug in effect.

I dunno...half the fun of a night out is anticipating what happens next.
Hmm... whats really needed tho is an anti-coke that lessens anticipation, lowers expectations, so that anything that DOES occur becomes immediately much more pleasing.
