i didnt think half those tunes on the devine album *were* parts of house girls.... like each of those tracks, ive heard in some form or another, but i didnt see the relation to house girls at all. :slanted:

this might be cos i saw you are what you are last night but i think i would have liked it if they titled each track actual body parts.

My trawl for free tracks continues: 'Lion's Den' by Live, massive tune.

You are shitting me... :D  :slanted:
Seriously, I can't believe a tune this good is being given away free, and so soon after first coming to attention too. Everyone needs to grab a copy of this.

Got all of the Mad One stuff from iTunes last night. Of course I hope the Amazon release or any other later version are 320s, but I'm still hugely happy just to get a copy of those tunes: apart from the obvious 1 and 6, I'm feeling 3 and 5 quite strongly, and why did I only realise just now how good Gotta Have It is?

Also, here is the juno page for Sunday Roast and Jook 10's label, in case you or anyone else haven't seen it:

Loads of tunes up there, mostly from this year. Still working my way through at the mo.

Funny how only a couple of weeks ago we were all moaning about the lack of releases, then suddenly it goes daft. There's loads of stuff available now, but none of it seems to get advertised much.

The House girls album is brilliant, I love how they're all quite distinct from each other. Its like having both the album and single of the year in one, just in time for chrimbo!

Innit. It's made me feel much more positive about the whole state of the music tbh. Probably could do with getting more advertising coverage though, I agree.

Yeah I think there's probably a few tunes that have crept out this way. For example you can get Enrique Benitez' 'Cooking' on some comp on itunes now but it doesn't seem to have had a single release on mp3. (this tune is ancient now but still a goodie).

Have listened through a few of those Sunday Roast tunes on Juno and the ones that seem to stand out for me are 'Mogo Jam', 'Soca Africa' and 'Live as one'. They are very hit and miss though. Probably best to have a closer listen to the most recent Marcus Nasty set to pick out the good stuff.

Oh yeah, something else I almost forgot to post about - a 320 of Kiss Me by Screama and Farah seem to have finally crept out, as part of this comp:

Pretty much only found this by accident when searching for something else. It's really nice to get hold of a copy of it at last, but part of me can't help wondering if this release is legitimate?

It must be legitimate. Excellent way for some of these producers to distribute their music. Have only just discovered that Juno Download are doing this and have already found 5-6 must-have tunes I've been after for ages.

Just checked this out and realised you can get Funkystepz 'Touch on me' from a compilation on Juno. Score!

Sweet, will have to pick that one up, big fan of it. Cheers for the Sunday Roast suggestions too.

^continuum, think Pull Me Close has been discussed before, but it's def good enough to warrant getting posted again. :)
