I always associate these / three / tracks together. I guess they must have been released pretty close to each other, and they cemented my ukg fixation.

I only found out the name of this garage classic last year, after a decade searching for it. I had previously been known to sing the piano riff to anyone who I found to have any knowledge house and garage music. It's lovely to feel the memories of certain times and places flooding back when hearing tunes like this.

gurley remix of hyperfunk was one the tracks that tipped me to ukg. amazing percussion.

valley of the shadows is such a classic. definition of economy...

this one is my all time favorite hardcore tune. everything about it is
good to me. that synth line, 'hold your hands to heaven', the looney
tunes music samples, 'gonna blow now' fuckery, the drums in general
are raw, the opening lush epic strings.

and here is the b-side... so basically this is the best 12 inch single
i know about. I don't own it. want to.
