looks like dj nates blocked all his own Juke videos on Youtube, which is weird....
did anyone have any luck with ordering cd's off of him?

makes me wonder if blocking the youtube videos is some sort of first stage in him either consolidating or rejecting his footwerk stuff (like someone mentioned upthread his hip hop rnb stuff getting signed). hopefully the former, so this sees some sort of release...

im trying desperatly to get hold of this stuff but all i can get are loads of these 30 second tracks on imeem, tantalising but...

btw Drilla and all, where are you getting the full files from? is it just me or does imeem only ever play 30 second clips of everything?

im spending a bit of time recording stuff off of myspace, this guys pretty good, like a more jazzy mellow juke (kinda)...

this stuff os like an alternative 'ardcore, just any random mash of samples and sound effects with this stuttering blip sound over the top to keep the pace, any other percussion just sliding in and out. absolutly incredible.

weird how it seemed to evolve from this music that actually still resembles house, like this guy

i dunno, imeem plays full tracks for me, even before i made an account... i just record them with audacity and do a little volume maximization if it's too low afterward

i'm not sure if me posting this is going to eventually wreck my juke-ripping hobby but this website file2hd allows you to save all the imeem .flvs...and then you can convert to .mp3

and i found this guy dj rodon from dj nate's myspace friends. most of his juke stuff is obviously him just starting out and it's fairly crunchy and unlistenable. i do really like these synth drenched southern-rap-meets-juke loopy tracks he has though...
