Know bugger all about this really, but just been checking out this DJ Sliink guy (via the latest blissblog post, in which he likens it to 'black gabba') and I like it a lot. Chopped vocals, cheeky samples, breakbeats, cool dancing...right up my street and I imagine it will appeal to dissensians too.

Theres a zip of 10 of his tracks here: http://www.mediafire.com/?ppuv558p2jzmwrd
and he's got an EP to buy here which sounds really great.

Any more recommendations/knowledge will be much appreciated.

would be great if anyone had some suggestions about how to find/buy tracks related to this scene.

From what i've found, there are a few releases from DJ Sliink,Sega, Tameil, etc around beatport and other online shops. a lot of these DJs give away free stuff on their soundcloud as well, however when Sliink puts a track up it reaches 100 DL limit pretty fast as he's got like 7,000 followers. I've also been looking around http://www.baltimore-club.com/, which covers club music from several east coast cities, and they have a record pool feature thats pretty cool, its 4 USD and you get like 8-10 tracks monthly, however not all of it is Jersey stuff.

any other places I should be looking?

There's an astonishing amount of free tracks on Soundcloud once you start digging, these guys really churn this stuff out quick. Brick bandits related stuff seems to be the best from what i can tell.

This guy DJ Swizzymack from Philly has no less than 82 free tracks on his soundcloud. I'm downloading them all now even though they all sound pretty much the same lol. Club remixes of practically every chart hit of recent years, even tracks by Lil B and Skrillex!

downloaded that skrillex mashup just so I'd have a skrillex tune to play should anybody request one in the future. Now we play the waiting game

This is a great video to watch for an insight into this scene. Brick Bandits house party...

This scene just seems to have a really good vibe about it. I love how they all share the same mpc and sample library. If you hear a track with samples of Spongebob or (my personal favourite) squeaky bed-springs, then its probably someone in Brick Bandits.
