Newcastle & Dublin only have one such shop each, Belfast (population 450,000ish) has none that sells them. It's just second hand stuff or new pricey mainstream rock/ indie. I would've thought that if there was enough new turntable owners to support all these Beatles reissues and countless releases for current bands there would be more shops stocking the dance 12"s that are bound to sell well- a guitar centric shopkeeper doesn't have to be too clued up on underground stuff to know that Disclosure singles, Skream's disco edits and the likes of that new Jenna G cut on Rinse are safe bets surely? I'm surprised HMV don't have a quota of- say- order in at least three new dance singles every month. Remember it wasn't that long ago that they had whole sections of their shops devoted to this stuff.
