Beast of Burden
I watched Elio Petri's A Quiet Place in the Country, starring Franco Nero and Vanessa Redgrave. It was absolutely brilliant, one I think Idlerich would enjoy, all trippy psychosexual neurosis and clangy Morricone music and bright colours, with the odd stab of shocking violence that may not have actually happened. It's kind of like a spooky avant-garde giallo with similar quirks to Le Orme or Death Laid an Egg, but it's the best of this type of thing that I've seen. In terms of Petri's style, it's a more or less direct link from The 10th Victim to Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion. Top marks.

If it's revenge for me being horrible to Jenks, then I will take it on the chin. I deserve it.
