No, the Tyson entrance music is not by a band called Coil, it is an original piece commissioned by Trump Plaza's ad agency. I know because I composed and recorded it. In the late '80's I was doing truck loads of music for The Donald and this was something they added to my pile of assignments. It was originally used for the promotional radio spots (narrated by Gene Hackman!) but Tyson and his folks liked it enough to use it for his entrance. But I'm very flattered that people thought it was by a band that they love and I thank you for liking my music.
Fugazi. Maybe Autechre.I can't think of many other bands that were around as long as them who got better and more interesting the longer they went on.
Talk Talk may be, and that's it?
I like the owls bits.these are brilliant. as i explain in the wrong 'un musick thread coil are great when they are not whispering about diseased owls of the night in pantomime fashion
Some of the John T. Gast stuff reminds me of Coil.
Love remote viewing !
Coil just got better and better I think. Their final stuff is may be my favourite stuff of theirs.
