Why I challenged Luka to read one of Bellingcat's investigations from end to end is that they are marshal such a wide range of evidence in favour of the cases they're making. They make convincing cases and show their working. I don't think you can dismiss all of this on the basis of one anomalous detail.
You could always continue your investigations and see if you can meet Dawn Sturgess; family. I guess you could dismiss them as crisis actors though if you do.I don't think I remember anyone challenging the account that came out in the news of what happened, but I do. I read it as spy fiction. All total fiction. Including Sturgess and Rowley, just as we we're there for the World Cup, just fictional names. Just a cruel joke played on the public. I was so interested in what I was hearing I even bought Mark Urban's book, travelled to Salisbury and drove past the house which was being guarded by police, and don't doubt that Skripal was once an agent. Just that's it's unlikely any of what we were told happened actually happened.
I know. I don't have any issue with what you're saying, don't blame you for not being interested either. Our mate here was interested enough to read a whole book about he Skirpal case at least.im not arguing that it didnt happen.
I wasn't saying you don't think that event happened. I was just using it for illustrative purposes.7/7 I don't deny happening. There was a bus blown up. Arguing that didn't happen would be like saying 9/11 didn't happen. I did get sectioned partly over this Skripal thing though so it's worth taking what I say with a pinch of salt. I had to travel to Salisbury when it was going on, stayed in a B&B for a couple of nights to investigate.
I hear what you're saying about Turkey. I don't know it but I can imagine it. I agree that we are defanged here to some degree - if arguing on Dissensus changed anything they'd abolish it.
However, with Novara I could easily imagine a situation where a Corbyn government was using them as unofficial spokespeaople. Much more likely in 2017 ofc but that's why they put so much energy into the project - there was a chance for a minute they were going to step into that role.
