grossly overestimating my ability to do that even before I try to make it weirder tbh
what's word on this
Uh oh. Didn't read the details. Anxiety looms. Better make a version 2 now...The word is we want everyone to get their tracks done by the 25th so we can have a listening party on the 26th. After that, we can hand them over to user @soul_pill who has offered to do the mastering for us which will take a week or so, and then after that, we put them on Bandcamp and somewhere along the way we can discuss other options like physical releases etc.
A few days ago we were talking about getting the mastering done by the end of the month but I think it makes more sense to give people the full month, like originally planned, to finish their track. Which is enough time to make sure you dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's. Some people take longer than others.
You already earned a Dissensus based less - anxiety coin, you will be fineUh oh. Didn't read the details. Anxiety looms. Better make a version 2 now...
Regarding the premasters. It's best if they are sent as they are, with any compression or limiting that's part of the overall sound, but not any extra limiting to make them loud. A little bit of headroom (between 2 and 6db) is always good.
In addition any notes from each artist about what sound they want to acheive or any notes about things bothering them about the mix of each of their tracks.
four on floor jungle, also inspired by tracks from my hero eon like "fear, the mindkiller" and "basket case"
i know it's about twice the recommended length, but the thing is, taking patty's advice added about 20 seconds, so it's all his fault...
(submitting the final mix later tonight, unless for some reason anyone objects to it being on the comp, lol)
