maybe this will skew a little young here, but I realized yesterday that 100% of all straight white men that post selfies semi regularly are awful. Ive had this feeling my whole life but thought maybe this was just a silly hunch, a personal bias, but I realized the other day that now in my old age I have adequate sample size to declare this a law. Ive run it by several people and no one has been able to suggest one person contrary to this. its a law. if you remove the 'white' caveat Id say it still has about a 70% hit rate.
I was gonna say, not sure you need the straight etc bit. Selfies are showing off. They are a picture of you, where you think you look good, selected and shown to everyone else. So, almost by definition, they are showing off. Unless you do a series for medical science about, I dunno, your face slowly being eaten by a horrific cancerous growth, selfish are showing off.
Now showing off is not wrong in itself. If you don't like the way you look and you capture a great picture that makes you look and feel good then go for it. But the regular thing... if you look good, you know you look good and you do millions of cocky selfies relentlessly telling everyone that... then yeah, it's probably not a good sign, whoever you are.
