Morning sun(light)

I think sunlight can be quite different in different places, and this is most pronounced in the early morning. Here you get a very golden sunlight at times which I love. This morning I took some pictures from my balcony, walked round the block snapping and finished with one more from the balcony - show me your equivalents.

You get the odd incredible dawn round here. But it's a totally different thing, not as golden. More like a bright white bubble. But I'm frequently not up early enough to witness it, especially in the summer. These are all autumn/winter sunrises.

I love it when you catch one of those red skied mornings and get those hot pink clouds for a few minutes. I saw one the other week, whole sky lit up pink and red. One of those things where you hope somebody else is seeing it too.

Yeah I love that. I've seen a few of those as well, but I think only managed to get photos when it's sunset. You can never photograph the sunrises properly (or rather, I can't)

Or a compilation of shots. At this time when the sun is half risen if you point the camera in one direction it appears to still be night, but you point elsewhere and the result looks like full daylight. These four were all taken within a few seconds.

I'm realising that the view from this flat is a rather nice one over a lovely part of East London - so when it's a beautiful morning like today, all the pieces of the jigsaw are there.
