I wonder if this sort of press shot is the preserve of student union paste men in their 20s comedians who take a wry sideways look at the day's news?

There is a lot of eye stuff going on there, not just raised but any kind of wonkiness that can be pulled off with a single, individual eye: an outward sign of their resistance to conformity - or as much of that as one can possibly get into a photo that merely shows their head.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised not to see a load of trumpets and kazoos, eye patches and fake moustaches - all in the shadow of a variety of personality hats.

Hard to tell if Limmy looks different to the standard or if it's just cos i know what he's like. There's something different about his eyes though – the cold dead eyes
