This is.... definitely a potentially interesting idea, I will be watching keenly to see if former enemies can eventually develop some kind of grudging respect for each other, perhaps even something more. Or not.

But I see something like an olive branch being tentatively extended....

At first I read that as 25 then 25 which seemed a bit too long-winded to arrive anywhere, but I think it's actually one then one finally totalling to 25 which makes a lot more sense... but what are the other rules? Do you have to follow up with something that is somehow appropriate? Do you have to justify it?
