the beatles admiration and who (mostly) young people choose to obsess over is very interesting.... it seems like george is the most popular choice at the moment and john the least popular.... i was on a date a couple weeks back, she was a couple years younger that me, and we got along on an app through just talking about dylan, but meeting her in person was a turn off because she came off as a fangirl and i was like oh no is this how i sound talking about dylan..... anyway, the beatles came up and she mentioned how she loves George and Paul, and then i jokingly (maybe only jokingly to me im not sure she read it well, if she could read any human emotion or spoken tone at all) said well you know john is the best right (i do think paul is the best, but i do like some of john's solo albums)? and she was immediately like no, i hate john lennon, and i said ok i mean you dont have to like his solo stuff, but she also said she hated his beatles songs.... i quickly moved on because i realized i was talking to a child and didnt want to argue with one.... with george im not sure exactly, but the big love for him has to be all the spiritual stuff right? i dont know, i just like listening to their music
