Those hexagons, kinda interesting that on a first glance, it's non-red at the sides, on the coasts and beaches
Both constituencies on the Isle of Wight are predicted to go red, which is a turn up for the books.

Pages from my notebook, from a few weeks ago, where I cut out the starmer portrait from the promo through the letterbox

It's a nice warm evening. Am considering walking barefoot for a mile to the 24 hour shop to get some perla mocnas.

Massive endorsement for farage so far you gotta say. Reform essentially 3rd party. Con + Ref = would beat Labour. But dunno if this story will change as night goes on.

Yeah, worrying. They're coming 2nd and 3rd in a lot of seats and taking a lot of votes off the Tories.

from the Tory PM's constituencies:

Witney (ex. David Cameron) – Lib Dem gain
Maidenhead (ex. Theresa May) – Lib Dem gain
Uxbridge and South Ruislip (ex. Boris Johnson) – Lab gain
South West Norfolk (Liz Truss) – Lab gain
Richmond and Northallerton (Rishi Sunak) – Con hold

well done there anyway, Rishi 😘

It'll be interesting to see what the effect ID requirement had. The Tories' plan of vote suppression seems to have reduced the big Labour majorities in the inner cities, but that made no real difference because Labour obviously won those seats anyway. It doesn't seem to have had much effect elsewhere. And hopefully Labour will scrap it now anyway.

In fact

Liz Truss’s political record breaking continues: - Shortest reigning PM - First PM in 100 years to lose their seat - Tory MP with largest ever swing to Labour

Also, sadly, JRM has gone. Many of you will know how much I liked that guy.

I'm going to pioneer pronouncing 'FPTP' as if it were a normal word, 'fptp', like a raspberry/fart sound.

I fully expect this to be standard throughout the country by the next election.
