It's always hard with something like this to disentangle how much is genuine and unwarranted hate (which women especially can cop an awful lot of) and how much is legitimate pisstaking for what was, as you rightly say, a shitshow of a performance.

I feel sorry for her, she had a bad day, BUT it was a poor performance

I had to suffer a diatribe* from one of the "house services" where I work about this and I tried to explain to him that breakdancing is no different to gymnastics, it's just prancing about to music

* he opened with "who the fuck thought breakdancing is an Olympic sport" - a week or so earlier he told me "THEY ARE NOT EVEN TRYING TO HIDE IT!" and I was like, "what?", and he was like "SATANISM! PURE SATANISM!" - he was offended by the "last supper" scene in the opening ceremony which I still haven't seen, but I am assured by him that it was EVIL INCARNATE - it's best not to get him started, his opinion on the Southport stabbings was pure incel. - "Taylor Swift dance class" = 'teaching them to be little sluts"

Off-topic, but I wouldn't be in the least surprised if this turned out to be the attacker's main motive. There was a case in Plymouth a few years ago where a guy who got mixed up in some very murky incel stuff online shot a bunch of women - including his own mum, charmingly enough - although he was white, so nobody tried to claim he was a Muslim refugee.

Southport stabbings:

the guy was a failed child actor, not too much of a stretch to enter his headspace and 'those tweens are stealing my spot', "they must die", etc plus incel musings

edit: and that poor hygiene guy with the shotgun in Plymouth who @Mr. Tea mentions who the police should have noted before he went on a rampage in his cul-de-sac = incel attack

I love my Islamic brothers and sisters AND I hate those INCEL cunts who make our island a worse place to be

there are many points where my female friends intersected with the Ariande Grande Manchester arena bombing guy and he was PURE INCEL, and his brothers as well., all inadequate , they blocked the road when my my best lady friend tried to drive pass in her car, they hated women because they couldn't even get a hand job, fucking INCELs, no need to bring religion into the equation
