Is it the last day tomorrow?

I'm actually going to be a bit sad, I've watched more of this one than any of the previous ones

Ironically the BBC hasn't got the rights to most of it but I guess it's good to have seen a range of things

Too much swimming though

It is nice and it's nice that someone somewhere is being young and healthy and boring

it was the Finns that dominated this when i was a kid seems theres been a changing of the guard

Men’s javelin: Already assured of first place, the athlete from Pakistan launches another monster of a final throw: 91.79. It’s not as good as his winning effort of 92.97 but serves to confirm his superiorty tonight. It’s Pakistan’s first ever Olympic medal in athletics.

The well beaten defending champion, Neeraj Chopra (Ind) has taken the silver medal, while Grenada’s Anderson Peters has taken the bronze.

Mr. Tea

Let's Talk About Ceps
Turns out she's a university lecturer who studies breakdancing via D&G, Bourdieu, Butler, etc. Feel a bit bad for her given how much shit she's been getting, but the clips I saw really were awful.
It's always hard with something like this to disentangle how much is genuine and unwarranted hate (which women especially can cop an awful lot of) and how much is legitimate pisstaking for what was, as you rightly say, a shitshow of a performance.
