a friend used to chide me for liking it so much - something like carnival fairy tale music - I forget the exact words he used.

edit: remix was done by mark clifford from seefeel which is ironic because the same friend was floored when I showed him quique

only really like that early raw acid 3x12 album from tin man soz

never got the dozzy fuss either, certainly the most boring dj i ever saw

love that stoll track upthread, need tae pick it up…

Fair enough. Don't think I've ever listened to a Dozzy set. Always just loved that loop. I don't think I've even heard the rest of that release, actually. Should probably check the rest at some point.

A couple of decades ago, since I had so many records with locked grooves (either as an addition to the other music, or as records composed entirely of locked grooves), I had a grand plan to do sets composed entirely of locked grooves mixed together, but it turned out to be so much more of a chore (this was before I had any digital gear and/or easy way to record stuff to digital).

very much agree both about tin man and dozzy.

there's an excellent funky slightly millsian track on that stoll ep as well btw :
