Bruce Jenner as I guess we have to call her, i mean him, now seemed surprisingly happy as his rights were being trampled.

Was talking to a friend the other night who was convinced Covid vaccine shots may have had side effects. It's something I'd find hard to look into given the amount of crazy bias online.
Nearly all medicines have some side effects for some people, though, so if we banned all medicines that had potential side effects then we'd have no medicines (that weren't pure placebo).

The question is: are the covid vaccines a net benefit, given that they stopped a global pandemic that killed 20-30 million people in a couple of years is its tracks? You've got to be pretty fucked in the head not to see that the answer is yes.

Of course, it sucks if you happen to be one of the people who got some serious side-effects - but it also sucks if you died or suffered serious lasting health problems as a result of catching the virus when you had no prior immunity to it.

There's always a few people who are happy to do this, though. Remember when Kanye West said black people had chosen to be slaves for hundreds of years?

Yeah I tend to agree that they're a net benefit. But I'd be interested in how wide the range of side effects is but it seems impossible to get a read on that due the partisan nature of the topic.

Fucked up for traitors, thieves, and weirdoes, glorious for the rest of humanity

I don't know if you're being ironic with the first two or just trolling again.
As for weirdos, humanity needs the so-called "weirdos" for all sorts of reasons. Alternately, I guess you could wait until they've really saved your ass and then punish them for being a "weirdo" like you did with Alan Turing.
What, you think humanity has been able to accomplish everything by relying on the chads that already had it made?
I suppose you must also be one of those chads, or at least think of yourself as such - I mean, you're posting here at chad central, after all.

This is my petri dish, and you are my specimens. I enjoy observing your responses to various pharmaceutical stimuli and plant-based nutrients, your interactions and pathologies, what unites and divides the sub-species. It's a rare and endangered habitat, something like a stagnant oxbow lake.

Let's see your pics, chad loverboy.

One of my observations is that a particular kind of leftist always falls back on homoerotic ad hominems (HAHs, hereafter) when they're out of arguments. Mr Tea is notable in this regard, Idlerich too, and here it is again.

My sincere apologies that you took that as HAH after having such nice things to say.

OTOH, I can see why you were dense enough to take that as HAH after writing that. You must have been assuming that I was going on the defensive or offensive.

Nope - I was merely wondering, and thinking, wow, you must be quite a chad to think so little of us, so let's see your pics. Maybe it will help if I insert a comma: Chad, Loverboy (loverboy meaning you're a skilled lady-killer/lover)

BUT, considering you attacked someone's appearance that probably has the equivalent amount of pull of supermassive star to your 1kg of space debris, I'm pretty sure I know the reason why you won't post your pics.

This is a really ancient, early messageboard, internet trolling trope fwiw. "See, your predictable response validates my grand experiment! You are all caught in my laboratory!". As its always easier to be grandiose rather than recognise moral failings ofc.
