If you want a really outlandish theory, imagine he does get Canada and Greenland and it's some sort of pincer move on Europe coordinated with Russia. One enemy to the west, one to the east, Europe stuck in the middle. He's currently going much harder on Canada and Europe than even China, let alone Russia. There was that comment he made the other day about how the EU was set up purely to screw the US.

You can't take his tone seriously. The closer the ally and the less threat they present the harsher he can and will be; when he's harsh it means they're an ally. It's like parents can be harsher with their children than teachers, than people who know them, than strangers. Also, it's called diplomacy, where you dissimulate in order to get what you want.

Forgive me cos not read whole thread yet but a lot of people around him clearly want a white ethnostate. In practice, imposed on the current US maybe this'd be a bit apartheid South Africa? There's little chance of ethnocentrism because American identity is not rooted in ethnicity but in citizenship. Also, Trump is married to a Slav, Vance is married to an Indian, and Musk is married to everyone.

It's funny you bring up abortion because the Nazis used it differentially based on ethnicity: it was banned to Germans but encouraged among Jews. If you look at abortion advertising and practice in the US it is disproportionately targeted to black people and also used disproportionately by them...that makes Democrats racist and perhaps also Nazis. in the big corporate multistory cinema with massive chairs that lean back electronically last night there was a guy in a maga hat walking around trying to get in confrontations with people, i think it started coz someone gave him the finger and he followed them shouting at them. anyway obviously my girlfriend, who is quite amazing with this kind of thing and is never going to let something like that slide, started shouting at the maga person and questioning whether he was a real person or if it was a bit. so he turned around and followed us and - probably the funniest thing i've seen for a long time - kept calling her a loser and making his hand into an L shape and putting it to his forehead.
