It's some of the only confirmed 100% genuine film footage of a Bigfoot aka Sasquatch

There’s one I had starts about a village in the snow at night. In the morning, all the villagers wake up to a single limbed track that ran through the centre of the settlement up over one of the house’s roofs and over into the distance. The track was a single hoof. Antioch has visited but no-one was sure. Reading it through split fingers at night. Lost to time, googled the fuck out of this and zilch.
Devils footprints. Was this a sort of compendium book that also had little features on things like the origins of skateboarding. I used to have to stay late at school when I was 8 to wait for my mum to pick me up and I used to go in the cupboards and this was one of the books I found.

That’s it ¥exclamation mark¥, a compendium, UFO’s too (but could be wrong). Bigfoot?

Footprints were epic. Must have been printed 75-81.

Well it would have been more like 88 for me, but they were old books. We never used them in any lessons, I found a secret stash.

Very well drawn, but only minimal colour palette. Like everything was two tones of blue in one spread, then reds and oranges on another.

Break time on rainy days, our school had boxes of gems like that. Some crossover with the spooky kids books thread.

They had piles of these too, far less nuanced obviously

what is the arrow supposed to point at? what figure is that?

that's sasquatch! a major figure in many of our childhoods. the earliest nightmare i can remember was of a sasquatch/yeti like being (if that's not giving too much away - ie fear of adults - those tall hairy things)

OK, this has prompted a sudden recall. I have a strong memory of a book I read when I was at primary school, titled "S.C.A.B.: Secret Codes And Ballistics!", which was this absolutely gonzo sci-fi story and was incredibly amateurishly put together, with drawings that looked like they'd been done on a notepad with biros and text that had been typed out on a mechanical typewriter and stuck onto the illustrations with paste. It had all these crazy alien races involved in colossal space wars involving fleets of billions of starships, all zapping each other and blowing planets up and stuff.

A few years ago I googled it on a whim and got absolutely nothing, so I assumed it had been put out as a vanity publication, which would go with the extreme amateurishness. Anyway, your comment made me think of it again, so I tried once more and found A SINGLE RESULT IN ALL OF GOOGLE:

How often does that happen? And it's a brief YouTube vid by some Kiwi lad, probably about the age I was when I read it, who's so into it he's drawn his own fan art! Which is of nearly the same quality as the art in the original book! This has made me quite unreasonably happy.

now if you just find the book me and wash used to have. and then connect it to deckard/thatcher, q/anon/blisset etc. we could have everything tied up by tea time.
You mean... Tea time? The synchronicity just keeps on coming! It's Timewave Zero, lads!

even my sister was talking about this "60 minutes" report last night

UFOs regularly spotted in restricted U.S. airspace, report on the phenomena due next month

We have tackled many strange stories on 60 Minutes, but perhaps none like this. It's the story of the U.S. government's grudging acknowledgment of unidentified aerial phenomena— UAP—more commonly known as UFOs. After decades of public denial the Pentagon now admits there's something out there, and the U.S. Senate wants to know what it is. The intelligence committee has ordered the director of national intelligence and the secretary of defense to deliver a report on the mysterious sightings by next month.

Bill Whitaker: So what you are telling me is that UFOs, unidentified flying objects, are real?

Lue Elizondo: Bill, I think we're beyond that already. The government has already stated for the record that they're real. I'm not telling you that. The United States government is telling you that.

But the real story isn’t disclosure, and it’s stranger than any UFO sighting. Behind the creamy pages of high-end magazines and the marble columns of the Capitol, the media elite and Congress are being played by a small, loosely connected group of people with bizarre ideas about science. It’s easy to dismiss UFOs as a fantasy or a fad, but the money, the connections, and the power wielded by a group of UFO believers—embedded in the defense industry and bent on supplanting material science with a pseudoscientific mysticism straight from the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens—poses a danger to America more real than a flying saucer.
