yeah that was me. the corporate takeover of the psychedelic space itself is something i started getting really alarmed at when i went to a psychedelics convention and most of the guests speakers seemed to be from a corporate background or rather ambiguous joint funded research institutes. very sinister looking.

i think basically because they spend all their time dealing with technical, controllable things, and they want a clearcut way of understanding human history, that looks like a bit of a circuit diagram (this caused that that caused that). that sapiens book is that on a plate. well i'm assuming that. that's what the first 50 pages looked like to me. reducing complexity and flattening everything out. great subject matter though. there's a weird bit at the end that seemed to be all about gene editing.
