More live FM sets please! (and can someone please tell me how to get the live fm stream to work. I don't have the required plug in apparently)

I got hit with the no plug-in warning too, but if you click the 'Listen Total' picture on the listen page it should download a .pls file which will play fine in iTunes / Winamp / whatever mp3 player takes your fancy.

ah right, cheers. I did get it working with Internet explorer but not with Chrome for some reason.

Can't stop playing that Petchy set, its so so good. I love Topsy's MCing, I think its setting a new level in terms of MCing over funky.

Just want to say that - having finally allowed myself to listen to it - the Petchy set is huge. I love that he starts with Seb Chu's "You Got Me", that's one of my favourite vocal tracks. But yeah the best bits probably are the hard MC sections.

Also major props to Andy for bringing the knowledge in this thread. So good to see some real momentum building in terms of people's engagement with the scene!

Hehe, thanks - well like I said before I'm only working part-time at the moment so I'm finding myself with a lot of spare hours to explore and post about this stuff. Plus I'm as bad as anyone for firing off questions left, right and centre about where can I hear this tune, who made it, what time is a show on etc, so I can appreciate how helpful it is to have that base of knowledge building up. Any names you'd like to add to the producers list?
Downloading the Funkystepz set you were talking about, so will post some thoughts on it in a while. Glad that your rate the Petchy set, it's massive. :)

Andy, Danny Native should be added to your Producer list, big mix over at Fact (where u at Tom?)
Fuck Your Couch takes the nuum back beyond hardcore with some wicked Frank De Wulf sampling..

!

I love that track too but I can't find any info on it anywhere. Is it the same Seb Chew who used to go out with Lily Allen?

petchy done a funky set with d.e.e recently...dont suppose anyone got the audio for that?

I'd love to hear that! Topsy's flow reminds me a wee bit of DEE actually, maybe its just the 'boys in blue' bars that he does. Anyway, DEE sounds great over funky, loved that Mak 10 dubplate special of him over Hardhouse Banton's Reign.

this trim n scratch (and erm discarda) set from live fm has some great bits.
someone nice recorded it (has a few parts where the stream seems to glitch up tho) -

im dying to find out what it is.

Absolutely, a daft omission to make, will fix it right now. That Fuck Your Couch tune is nuts, he played it on his Deja show a while back, I laughed so much when I first heard the Chapelle sample coming in :D . Will pick up that mix soon.
Downloading that Trim n Scratch set right now, cheers to mr drops.

Edit: on the FACT site now, so glad to see that Danny has included Gutter by Smoove Kriminal in his mix. Sick, sick tune.

seems like scratchys dj-ing that set with tommo and some of the beats are produced by both of them.
