I used to have Rev's 'Strangeworld' album which is like half noisy jackhammer tracks like this , and half gorgeous space ballads like this
pretty good album imo

an early "best of" with emphasis on the first 3-4 albums, which are the only albums of his i know or care about. pretty great stuff, today's indie rock scene just doesn't have stuff that sounds like this.

also enjoying the new syclops (aka maurice fulton) "a blink of an eye", the machine "redhead" remix album by joaquin joe claussell and some proper handbag house on the "deconstruction classics" 2cd collection that i just found for $1 (black box "everybody everybody", sha-lor "i'm in love", n-joi "anthem", http://www.discogs.com/Various-Deconstruction-Classics-A-History-Of-Dance-Music/release/20803).
