Legowelt's Memphis Rap mix

I second this! This mix is perfect, anyone able to ID some of the tracks? Am looking for the track starting at around 42:00 for example.

This thread is amazing: http://www.bloodandfire.co.uk/db/viewtopic.php?t=31164&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= You could be checkign youtube for days...

One guy/girl recommends the following:

"Ackie-Lick Them/Roughneck Time/Call me Rambo
Hopeton Lindo-Territory
Patrick Roots-Jah My Keeper
Owen Knibb-Juggler
Flag Smith-Natty Red(digi?)
King Kong-He Was a Friend
Ken Albert-Mix Up
White Mice-Nothing Never Done Before the Time
Wild Eyes-Wickedness
G.Isaacs-Quiet Storm"

and of the ones I've checked (Owen Knibb, Ackie, King Kong, and Patrick Roots), they are all simply incredible tunes, some of the best I've ever heard. Actually, the King Kong tune may be my favourite dancehall record.

Ah cool! Think I have some of those in that thread on some Soul Jazz compilations. ALso, if you haven't already, check out the White Mice LP on Basic Replay.

Playing this at the moment, so good:

Oh yes. Ironman was a good album with better RZA production, but SC is the one I keep coming back to. After I first heard it I was utterly convinced that Ghostface is a true genius. Maybe the whole LP isn't great but for 'One' and 'Nutmeg' alone...blew my mind. Oh god, this one too
The dancehall tunes on this page are amazing too, cheers for those.
