i say i like club bangerz
then try and build some common ground via modern dancehall, r'n'b, trap, etc or more easily digestable house
usually i just change the topic though
i'm down for voting in a grime top 30, though depending on how this poll turns out that may be redundant?
i think part of the reason i didn't vote in this is because i don't even know how to begin comparing, say, 'do you mind' to 'ice rink' to 'qawwali'.
yeah i completely gave this a miss, sorry
knowing me i would've put countless hours whittling my list down to perfection. just ain't got time for that
i'm trying so hard but i just can't seem to get 100% invested into a scene that has no vinyl releases.
is there anything at all to pick up on wax? i got excited for a bit when cause & affect had a tune on dirtybird but then i realised they're all digital now too.
discogs has always had that style tag. in the past, it was mostly used on ghetto tech, miami bass etc releases.

ah yeah, just realised most of mine are 2010 too
like different lekstrix is really an early funky staple (2008) but came out officially 2 years later
some funky i think hasn't been mentioned
scottie b ft. jay elle - feel nice, feel right
natalie may - clothes off
dotstar - stick up
sneakbo - the wave
mad one / devine collective - house girls part 7 (no war inside)
r1 ryders - karni4
mr mageeka - different lekstrix
roska - without it
i've been keeping this list of funky vinyl over the years. lots of nom-worthy stuff here i think
http://www.discogs.com/lists/Essential-UK-Funky/7984
it's hard to even remember the later stuff that never came out on wax tbh. no physical evidence...
