been e-digging this stuff lately using vietnamese forums and google translate! some of the quality sucks, as a lot of it is dubbed off of old cassettes or reel to reel tapes... but, it's fascinating to see the history, ie the early to mid 60's stuff reflects french tastes, where there are covers...

the Step freestyles were as good as any grime that came out last year, so he's still making good tunes... you're right, when Wiley is ON, he's as good as any grime MC on the mic... when he's making beats, it seems like something intuitive, how he uses odd time signatures and things, it just...

got this out from the library a few months back... had never heard of it, but the packaging was so beautiful it drew me in... i liked the art, the story telling was so so... i put it down about a 1/4 of the way through and never picked it up again... just got this for a buck at a local...
