Haha I've got one of those, stelfox! Mine just says "Dee" and it has the "diamonds" around the outside.
1. OG Ron C - Fuck Action 40: you heard about it from Dave, this is too great
2. DJ Harry - Bhangra Blast 2 - NYC DJ who mixes up some great recent hiphop/bhangra, and the flows don't sound...
i think reading through this thread (and i am a lil tips so maybe my conclusion is suspect but) i've decided that no one has really defined "popism" the way I think anyone on ILM/etc "practices" it. I still think there is a popist strawman that has been constructed that does not reflect anyone's...
OK I'm feeling a bit out of my league here so forgive me if I'm missing something but
This sounds like an Imaginary "actual popist" to me! (IAP) Who are these people who JUST like what they think teenage girls like?
Which is why i think teenage girls are really popists! As a generalization...
See, but I think the ave. pop music listener DOES give equal opportunity to the music that they hear - they just don't spend as much time searching out music. It certainly would explain why the pop charts tend towards diversity more than critics lists do, as a general rule! (this is a pretty big...

Yeah I definitely did not enjoy this album very much, sad to say. I had high expectations though. I still love his rap style though. On some songs it really came together, but he definitely had good chemistry w Vordul (whose album was pretty damn solid, a good 7.5/10)
Well, it was sometimes a "he's funny because he's dumb!" thing, i suppose. Laughing at him rather than with him sort of thing. Most people i knew who were really big fans didn't approach it this way, but some people seemed a bit patronizing.
Hahaha man Wesley Willis was my shit. He used to shop at dr. wax on berwyn all the time. A friend of mine was headbutted by him at a concert once, too. He has some inspired moments; the best thing about his music is playing it for someone for the first time. Sometimes people's reactions to it...
Actually to a degree I suppose all screw stuff is considered classic now, but i've been immersing myself in it lately and i found that it stood out more than i expected based on its rep, and 3 n tha mornin part 2, as great as it is, didnt stand up to its rep.
