nope but i would try it, i like barbecuing stuff. i did some mint polos which were quite nice, a bit gooey. LIKE IT. potentially the new chip butty. forget the mayo though.

nah. disagree. you're just not seeing it because you want the logic to run left to right.

    Proverbs

sounds like it embodies a reasonable attitude to material goods and money. i'm not sure about your logical analysis here. i think it adequately suggests what it is intended to mean, that the condition of being a poor workman is sufficient for tool blaming, and that tool blaming sufficiently...

    potato waffles

i can see hot meat juice dribbling through the holes like nobody's business... that pizza suggestion is thoroughly unclean, but you sound as if people have actually done it

right, see what you're saying. bit longer but there's nothing wrong with that. the countryside is nice round there. thanks!

i meant more the mayonnaise. not sure i've seen the garlic variety outside of a kebab shop! mustard eh? any excuse to eat mustard is worthwhile but does it really fare well unless on meat? coleslaw is a bit out of nowhere but probably a sick idea. bit of extra crunchy.

Renting space in east London for a recording studio

i used to work in this office building where some guys had set up a studio in one of the units...

yeah garlic mayonnaise could be ALL RIGHT actually. is this something you've ever made at home? and that is a good point grizzleb, if you got beans on the plate you're pretty much done. although these days i'm getting a bit bored of that bean juice/carbohydrate combo over the full duration...

The press release hall of shame thread

one thing i'm finding quite silly lately is blatant mail merging in a pathetic attempt to make it look a personal message. or even worse and lazier, this: er, i kind of clocked that i've been bcc'd, 'Mate', but now i really want to tell you about my weekend AND cover cocoon in the park. so...

    potato waffles

now potato waffles are tasty, no question about that. in fact i think i saw them described in a fancy design magazine as 'the most thrilling example of brutalist culinary engineering yet'. but they are a bit dry. what i want to know is, what do you do to moist them up and add more flavour...

    Cycling

yeah looking again if you miss out their mad wiggly bits and do b roads, it's almost straight up and down to where the m25 is and the samefrom basildon. might get lost in the little bit in between but i can deal with that. now i'm raring to go and annoyed with my uncle for getting married again...

    Cycling

i've beaten the hills of chigwell before, but to be honest i can't really see why you'd want to go that way...? (well not for me from clapton anyway) do you mean there are proper signs outside of organised rides? like, ride this way for a nice trip to southend sort of thing? wasn't even...

    Cycling

has anyone done london to southend? it looks like there's a nice route in there somewhere (no big roads etc) but that it might be difficult to remember... it's not about stopping to look at a map the whole time.

    shangaan stuff

the prosthetic bellies and arses are quite odd. it's not like the men are in drag but there are obvious feminine connotations. possibly just a laugh to amuse the kids i guess.

    Birmingham bassline/UKB

i had heard that but didn't know what it was so thanks! it is wicked, although not a million miles away from the 2-step of 10 years ago i guess... bass boy is pretty much always good.

    shangaan stuff

or eg the transmat relics compilation on 45! i think the weirdly melancholy marimbas are a lot to do with it. it feels like jungle too, there's the tempo obviously but it's more the same way the tunes are so absorbing as texture. you catch yourself daydreaming. i suppose it's analogous to how...

honest jon's have surprised and delighted me with this: http://www.honestjons.com/shop.php?pid=36711 i thought it was going to remain just an amazing thing on youtube which i'd never be able to listen to in a better format. nor probably know much about. this is the only journalism on it i've...
