haha dunno, i thought the last album was alright. but yeah, in essence they're very different, though both basically do techno rhythm covered in shoegaze noise type of thing : )

i thought it was awesome on the first listen..now i find it very average. though i haven't listened much yet..still a milion miles ahead of all the indie rockness

haha. what sort of thing was he djing? i saw him play on sonar a few years ago..it was his own stuff but he threw a couple of dance tracks in the set as well. it was about 5 pm so the sun was really hitting hard and it was outside..there was only this one guy dancing, doing the strangest moves...

montreux concert is what you want. i've been listening to 'the creator of the universe vol.1', 'cosmic tones for mental therapy - art forms of dimensions tomorrow' and 'disco 3000' lately. it's all good!

it's enjoyable listen from start to finish..on repeat. it reminds me of all the music i like, it's emotional, witty, clever, it doesn't get boring as most pop music does today. it's very dynamic, and i can imagine me dancing to it on the dancefloor or listening to it before i fall asleep and...

i don't think that was the case really (i talked to them, and apperantly they understand each other better than ever)...and we don't know what the second cd will carry either, do we? : )

i saw them in acoustic version and i was blown away. just robinson on vocals and wenner (?) on acoustic guitar...it was surely the most evil and intense unplugged gig i've ever seen.

im surprised there's no mention of this fine album yet. i must say it's probably my favourite autechre album..it's one of those albums that suits my taste in every way. what did you guys think of it?

what makes it easier for some is the practice in my opinion. subconcious practice sort of.. your sense of rhythm is growing together with music you listen to..the thing is, majority of western music is very conservative rhythm wise and therefore you can't get that much of practice..unless you...

i like him quite a bit and the new album is probably my fav under the burnt moniker. nice take on pop music as you can feel that there's all sorts of influences and ideas running underneath.
