presumably there's different definitions but 4 x 4 normally means bangin tekno or house i.e. not garage or breaks. Whether it be dodgy trance or pulverising acid tekno 4 x 4 is what alot of closed minded people can only dance to :D
the records are great.....
but i've seen them do some crap live shows, they just didn't know how to make people love'm. Mind you they did play at the QEH, London recently and it was real hoot, complete with samba band walking on at the end. :D

Great Film / Shame about the music
yes i caught it , managed to sneak in with a pass from a mate luckily. It was sold out. I think the Tate have a kind of cool that is beyond most venues in London. What a great film, like a load of CCTV from 1927! You couldn't quite believe how modern...
Virgin seemed pretty crap, my dad spent weeks trying to resolve the fact that he needed filters on both his telephone sockets,
Bulldog , avoid, terrible service
Eclipse.co.uk have been with them over a year, OK, upgrade you automatically.
saw Boxcutter a few mths back at Corsica Studios. He seemed to be having alorra tek probs with the sound engineer but it was one of the gigs where the music was so amazing you were kinda willing him on. The guys got music pouring out of him...........
i somehow clicked on a link on this site funny furren music it has a spectacularly bonkerz graph showing the relationship between no. of immigrants and 'polyrhythms'
vocal reminds me of that 80s band 'Black' with an update, nice production work,
(can we turn this into a remix thread? how about this one >move_adjunkt )
Bit of a epitaph for the redzeroradio show that i've been running for a while on resonance, now in slumber mode. d'n'b/hardtek/gabba/breakz/phyllis nelson!. Here's a mix I made specially for a really mad party down in Kingston's Laserquest with the Torment Crew.
broke bass
if nothing else...
i wasn't distorted enough for me, but they did they have their megaphones and it was in a tiny venue (low ceilin perfection!) where the acoustic/live thing worked. I can see it all goin wrong though.
played at the ridiculously posh Momo but it was full of us lot so OK!
what a gig, just the most amazing sound, tons better than the records, the songs last well over 20mins each.......
