Fumin - what's that riddim? On Lord Of The Mic 1, fumin does a freestyle (track 15) over a very funky synth bass track. What is it? And is there an instrumental version? "I'm so hungry, I'm so hungry, I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse..."

It really irks me when people try to use "it's been done before" as a valid criticism of the music at hand. I like the sounds they make, hence I like the band. And hey, I like Can and Neu and Cage and Debussy etc etc etc as much as the next person. There's nothing wrong with liking new music as...

I'd rather there were more Sigur Ros's in the world than Coldplays, Radioheads and Slowdives!! I thought the show last night was great. I loved the fact that they didn't say anything. It's all about the music maaaan - that pretty much sums up their whole attitude. Nice down to earth guys too.

Are there any grime artists out there pushing a more dance-able take on the music? The best moments for me are always those when the mc is blazing away and the beat makes me want to move. This seems to be happening less often these days.

Lady Sov will probably be the next grime artist to make it big. She's getting airplay down here in Australia on major radio stations. If you think Lady Sov isn't grime, then maybe you're too close to the scene?

Grime albums can work. Is Boy In Da Corner a bad album? Perhaps people are expecting everyone to be extremely talented and able to deliver a good album's worth of material straight off the bat? Expecting that of an entire genre (new or otherwise) is not really fair. I'm looking forward to...
