rolling back to the future garage/post-dubstep/alt-funkstep/intelli-2step etc thread

got such conflicted feelings towards girl unit productions. he's got such a cool imagination, and the tunes are really nice initially but after a few plays they just leave me empty, like they've been perfected to the point that there's no soul or playfulness left in the tunes

never fully listened to the pinch collab, all the clips I listened to sounded a little bit undercooked, but that might be a matter of just not really immersing myself in it properly

Lana Del Rey - Born to Die

she is weird and disconnected in the least intriguing and amicable way... every utterance and gesture is just unbelievably fake, she seems so desperate to have this classic, elegant personality - but its paper thin. just take a look, you want to smack her in the same way you do la roux. deluded...

Lana Del Rey - Born to Die

her performance on snl was hilariously bad, she comes across as intensely pretentious and dislikable in all interviews as well. sounds pretty good on record though in general

    Music/Arts and Professionalism

I guess what it boils down to, is that most good music comes from like a kind of 'letting go' for lack of a better word, and that is a much harder thing to do with pressure. My band and I released an album under the name 'Our Sleepless Forest' a good few years ago with no pressure at all and...
