    Poor State of Grime

I'd do lots of compilation, but I have the respect of wanting to ask the artists permission to put stuff on my cds when I do them. And that is a difficult thing to organise, especially with so many people either in or chasing deals.

    Poor State of Grime

The vibe on the album tracks were so good Relentless added an extra 25 grand to the video budget of the first single. If you take the 5 people on RWD forum that said they sold out, then fair enough.

    Poor State of Grime

That's strange. The Roll Deep and Kano albums were both "really exciting" when they hadn't been released and people were trading radio rips and leaked copies of tracks.

    Debt Reduction Extortion Racket

A 1 percent rise in the level of free trade allowed to African economies would be bigger than wiping off their entire debt. Not that the amount of money these countries have has anything to do with why their population is starving.

    Anyone going to FWD?

Seems like more than rotten tomatoes and sharp stones were used today. Old Street station is shut and I've been advised it is not worth going as I don't believe the night will be on. Hopefully they can fit me in next time.

    Anyone going to FWD?

Bring your rotten tomatoes and large sharp stones with you to pelt me as I sacriligiously play grime at FWD tonight. Think I'm on at midnight, I'm sure some interesting MC's will end up gravitating towards the venue as well. And make sure you are out and in the car/neara radio by 2am. Kiss 100...

There's official Relentless TP's about, so I assume it is getting a release, albeit possibly not a cd release.

WOEBOT and Heronbone at Rinse FM.

Thing with Grime is, it's amazing what you can get if you just ask. I don't think I've ever said no to an enquiry for help from a journalistic type for anything.

what are your favourite grime slang terms?

A logical assumption, but incorrect unfortunately. Bora is something with which you would bore someone with; ie: a Knife

    FWD Last night

Correcting grammar and spelling on an internet forum is not the lick. 'e' is next to the 's' key "MC's" was slackness

    FWD Last night

Hold tight the one post crew. Your (anonymous) time. Hope you really, really hate the loads of noisey grime with MC's shouting over it. :D

Roll Deep- In At The Screwed End

That article seemed pretty fair given what I imagine the author has been exposed to. Grime isn't even a nationwide phenomenon in the UK yet, so it getting pushed in the States amuses me. Glad some people are feeling it though. Even if it is perhaps somewhat influenced by trying to look current :)

Roll Deep- In At The Screwed End

I like some of the music made. I just think that basic premise of taking a tune, pitching it down and doubling it up here and there sounds incredibly crap. I understand that there are a number of talented artists who can transform pieces of music into something entirely different via this...
