Yes. I read somewhere that the media had this sort of agreement with the police not to report suicides as it seemed to encourage further suicides. Maybe it doesn't apply to celebrities? Then again there are those suicides in Bridgend.
If you're around north London you can try Parkland Walk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkland_Walk) which follows the path of an old disused railway. It runs from Finsbury Park up through Highgate, Muswell Hill and ends near Alexandra Palace. I did this a couple weeks ago and it's pretty nice...

I know they can be vile creatures but I found that story quite sad. All the torn furniture and damage to the house tells a tale of crazed desperation. And the fact that the squirrel just died in the end of exhaustion or starvation just makes it so sad. It paints a picture of absolute futility :(.
