Beirut's album is excellent. Sufjan Steven's songwriting and leaning to orchestral arrangement is interesting and worth following. LCD soundsystem are rewriting the book a bit and sound of silver is an excellent album.

I will just have to join in and say that I think Golden Skans is an excellent pop single. I love the vocal chorus mimic of the absent keyboard line. It's fun. Justice and all the Ed Banger stuff is quite annoying. It just has too much on the production "LOUD" setting that it doesn't work for...

I would do if there was anything about. Most bands doing anything interesting are mixing it up a bit at the moment, so traditional rock stuff is almost taking a break.

Diesel are crazy. 95% of the stuff they put out is absolutely awful. But if you find bits of the other 1% (about 4% of the 5% are just bootcut jeans), they are absolutely incredible. I have a diesel jacket which I bought after months of looking for a coat - excellent cut, nice non-diesel...
