Was at a party in a barn in the middle of nowhere. Everyone ended up in a state. My mate hit a girl in the face with a wine bottle and chipped her tooth then started threatening another mate.
Myself and another mate spent a while waiting for a taxi back to another mate's house, it never showed...
Ended up running from the countryside, right the way across town to my mate's house in my boxers at about 3am this morning.
Pointless, but definitely made me chuckle to myself.
I thought Antichrist was pretty poor. The opening scene was like some x-rated aftershave advert. From there, up until it got all silly and violent, I thought it was great. Beautifully shot. Incredible atmosphere.
Shame it turns into your standard, plodding horror film. Dafoe dragging himself...
Just watched The Man Who Wasn't There. Hadn't seen it before. Thought it was excellent. Possibly my new favourite Coen Brothers film. The whole feel and atmosphere of it was brilliant. BBT was awesome.
It was me that made the nu-metal comment. It completely broke the illusion suddenly hearing some Rammstein (I know they're industrial, but you know what I mean) or Marilyn Manson song. Seeing Manson in it also.
I still think it's great, mind you.
Robert Blake is chilling.
Watched Synecdoche, New York last night. I wouldn't unreservedly recommend it, but I thought it was great. Dragged a little, but on the whole I enjoyed it.
Miserable film though. Didn't help my mood.
Got this on at the moment. So far, so good. Nice & thumping.
Glad it's only 20 minutes or so. 30 minutes is about my limit for mixes. Just get bored if I have to listen any longer.
I got it for about a fiver (new) a while back. Seemed to be hard to get hold for a while though.
Apparently, Bill Pullman actually played the sax in that club scene.
