I don't think that's true? Stalinsim was mostly characterised by the waste of the gulag system and systemic distortion of economic results which is the whole edifice fell over in the late 80s.

You seem to have a distinct aesthetic with regard to the first few tunes you posted. I don't know quite how to describe it, without sounding really hackneyed (I forbid myself for reaching for the most overused epithet in music "psychedelic"). But the tunes don't seem standard heavy roots tunes...
I used to have this on 12"MONSTER though I'd argue the definitive version is Issac Hayes doing it live at Wattstax;
Actually maybe it's not definitive as it's too different from the OG. It is fucking epic though.
